The Buccaneer 33 is the shorter version of the Buccaneer 37 and qualifies as an under 10 metre rule boat. Like its smaller siblings it probably has the largest hull volume and deck area in its class as an under 10 metre GRP boat which enables it to have a maximum carrying capacity of approximately 10 tonnes. With its generous 15 foot beam which extends for’ard and aft it has a completely clear and spacious working deck. It has a broad transom and a flared French style bulbous bow which makes for a dry boat. The bulbous bow aids fuel efficiency and also helps to minimise plunging in a head sea.
The design has a generous freeboard which allows for an 8 tonne vivier tank amidships if required. The layout can be for a forward or aft wheelhouse arrangement with space for a comfortable crew cabin. The engine room has space for not only the main engine but for an auxiliary generator set and fuel tanks. With a forward engine room the bulbous bow provides internal space for a lay-shaft and a bow thruster. This design is well suited as a Ring Netter, Gill Netter, Trawler or Vivier Crabber. A demonstration trip can easily be arranged with one of our locally placed boats.
Together with the other boats in our range the Buccaneer 33 is available as either a part assembly or can be completed to your own requirements by our highly skilled staff.
