The Buccaneer B19 fishing cruiser is a development of our highly successful, heavy displacement Buccaneer 19 professional fishing boat. Many leisure craft are called trawler yachts and longliners but our product is based on REAL fishing boats. We have built over 50 of these fine craft and they are in almost every port of the UK and Ireland. The hull probably has the highest volume for its length of any comparable boat available and this allows for a large cockpit for anglers and a very spacious accomodation including a galley and a seperate toilet compartment with standing headroom. Seating for 4 persons is provided in the cabin. Engines from 40bhp to 75bhp can be fitted giving speeds from 6.5 knots to 8 knots repectively. The high breadth to length ratio is extended fore and aft as far as possible giving generous deck and cabin space. The hull is the only design to incorporate a bulbous bow which aids propulsion efficiency and helps to minimise pitching in a head sea, also the broadly flared bow makes for an extremely dry boat. Construction is to the demanding Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) which guarantees a high quality product. The displacement of approximately 2.5 tonnes allows the B19 to be towed by the average 4×4 vehicle.
